Therapy & Counseling Services

I offer individual therapy for children, teens, young adults, and adults, as well as therapy for couples and families. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with care tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, relationships, and lived experience.

I support clients navigating trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, identity development, relationship challenges, family stress, emotional regulation, burnout, and the desire for deeper self-understanding. I am EMDR trained and integrate evidence-informed approaches including trauma-informed care, attachment-based therapy, CBT, DBT skills, Internal Family Systems-informed work, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, nervous system education, and expressive arts-based interventions when clinically appropriate.

In our first session, we will take time to understand what brings you to therapy, what feels most important right now, and what kind of support would feel most helpful. As therapy unfolds, our work may include processing painful experiences, building coping tools, strengthening communication, increasing emotional regulation, exploring relationship patterns, and developing a stronger sense of clarity, confidence, and connection in your daily life.

What You Can Expect:

Therapy offers a thoughtful, supportive space where your story matters and your goals guide the work. Sessions are designed to feel both grounded and purposeful, with a balance of compassionate support, clinical insight, and practical tools you can begin using outside of the therapy room.

Depending on your needs, therapy may focus on managing anxiety, healing from trauma, improving relationships, navigating grief or life transitions, strengthening boundaries, developing emotional regulation skills, or creating more alignment in the life you are building.

All of my offerings are crafted with one thing in mind: you.

Every service is an invitation to heal, to express, to connect, to belong. I bring together clinical training, arts, and empathy to support growth in whatever form feels right for you. Whether you want therapy, creative wellness, performance work, or some combination, I can meet you wherever you are.

What is EMDR?

EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is an evidence-based therapy approach that can help people process painful or overwhelming experiences that may still feel “stuck” in the mind and body.

When something difficult happens, especially something traumatic, the brain does not always store the memory in the same way it stores everyday experiences. This can leave people feeling triggered, anxious, disconnected, stuck over-intellectualizing, or emotionally flooded, even long after the event has passed.

EMDR helps support the brain’s natural ability to heal by gently reprocessing these experiences in a structured and supportive way. Through this process, clients often find that memories feel less intense, triggers become more manageable, and they are able to relate to themselves and their story with more compassion, clarity, and calm.

EMDR can be helpful for trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, anxiety, grief, attachment wounds, relational trauma, and distressing life experiences. Before beginning EMDR reprocessing, we spend time building safety, understanding your nervous system, identifying your goals, and making sure the pace feels supportive and appropriate for you.

My approach to EMDR is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. You are not expected to rush into the hardest parts of your story. Instead, we move thoughtfully and intentionally, helping you feel grounded, supported, and empowered throughout the process.

New Therapeutic Model

Tailored Therapeutic Musical Theater (TTMT Model) Thesis

Tailored Therapeutic Musical Theater model (TTMT) demonstrates an observable reduction in social anxiety and increase in mental wellness in children and adolescents through participation in a production. My graduate thesis and research culminates in a detailed explanation of the 4-phase model of TTMT during a production of Newsies: The Musical and a discussion on next steps for future research. The findings indicate the use of therapeutic musical theater in a community setting with children and adolescence is successful in not only reducing social anxiety but fostering friendships, supporting psychosocial development, and increasing positive self-regard. This non-clinical alternative for addressing mental health struggles amongst youth is accessible and needed.
